A Test Technician is responsible for the testing of all manufactured items. This may include testing of bought in and new assemblies or systems and occasional reworking or modification of units or systems as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Attend daily Tier 1 meetings to meet OTD expectation and work with Production supervisor / Production Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department.
  • Liaising and communicating with engineering to feed back any problems or issues and pass information back on resolutions so these can be added to drawings / schematics.
  • Perform system or unit testing tasks as required in the production of Eaton products.
  • To work safely with both high and low voltage systems and test equipment, communicating possible issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Work with the Production supervisor and other staff to create and assist in improvement and waste reduction / ELSS projects.
