Our client is an independent retail group with a number of premises in the London area. An opportunity has arisen in the Central Finance Function for the position of a Temporary Junior Management Accountant. The Junior Management Accountant will be required to support the Management Information team in all aspects of their work.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Calculate and post month end journals
- Prepare and review monthly profit and loss statement
- Prepare, review and reconcile balance sheet with commentary
- Produce reconcile store expense schedules
- Adhoc tasks as required
Required Competences and Attributes:
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP and pivot tables)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to pick up tasks quickly
- Able to deliver reports to tight deadlines
- Able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels in the business
