We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative and Forklift Driver (Counterbalance and or Reach) on a night shift (4pm till 2:30am, Monday to Friday) to join an experienced team. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficient materials handling, operating forklift trucks, and supporting warehouse management activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise forklift driving and warehouse experience in a controlled environment, ensuring smooth storage and delivery and receiving operations.
£14.45 Per Hour / Working Monday to Friday, 4pm Start, latest finish 02:30am. Based in Millbrook SO15 area, so you could get a train or bus to work but you might struggle with the return journey if you do not have a car, motorbike, scooter, or push bike.
Responsibilities:- Operate counterbalance forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Assist with materials handling, including stacking, organising, and moving stock as required.
- Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing orders for dispatch and receipt of deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Assist with stock organisation, inventory counts, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
