Key Recruitment have a new opportunity for forklift drivers to join a large and well-known logistics and shipping company based in Portsmouth.

£14.50 per hour

Day shifts – 7am-6pm

Night shift – 6pm-6am

Shifts will be Ad Hoc and dependent on business requirements, usually scheduled within 24 hours' notice.

Your role will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Discharge and loading of cargo with the aid of electric forklifts and electric pallet trucks
  • Ensuring correct and safe loading without damage
  • Attention to detail, especially when moving hazardous or fragile loads
  • Operating forklifts in and out of racking systems
  • Restacking/breaking down pallets

What you'll need:

  • In-date counterbalance forklift licence
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse/logistics environment
  • Flexibility to work at all times of day, outside

Full induction to the company includes a 30-minute assessment and a short training session, to ensure you're knowledgeable in your new role.
