Key Recruitment have a new opportunity for a Pre-Delivery Inspector for one of the largest manufacturers of machinery in the world. This will be based in their parts service depot in Sittingbourne, Kent. Permanent Monday-Friday - 45hrs per week £35,000 per year.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Inspecting machines when they arrive in the country to ensure the equipment meets the correct quality standards and accurately recording information of defects.
- Carry out visual inspections, take photos, complete relevant paperwork and update on the CRM system.
- Carry out monthly stock inspections if machines are stored in the yard for set periods of time.
- Fit DataTag kits to machines and ensure all paperwork is complete and submitted to process.
What you'll need:
- Experience working with commercial vehicles or heavy machinery/plant equipment with some mechanical knowledge.
- An eye for detail and a customer focussed approach to quality.
- Basic knowledge of Excel / Word programmes and the ability to update the inhouse CRM system.
- A clean DBS check will be required due to machine DataTag security rules.
