We are looking for Woodworkers to join our growing team in Fareham. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, expanding branch, where you’ll play a vital role in our operations.

The role:

  • Located in Wickham (must have own vehicle due to location)
  • Full training provided to help you succeed in your role
  • Working to specific measurements and drawings
  • Company-provided uniform
  • The 42 hour workweek, with opportunities for overtime when needed. The usual working hours are Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30 and Friday 07:30-16:00.
  • The role of Timber Manufacturing Operative is a possible temp-to-perm position, meaning the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance.

Duties:

  • Manufacture timber products such as Timber Frames, Easi-Joists, and Trusses
  • Use of machinery and tools (using saws and manual rollers)

Requirements:

  • Experience in timber manufacturing or related fields is desirable
  • Ability to adapt and handle multiple tasks
  • Previous experience with hand and power tools
  • Previous experience with wood manufacturing would be advantageous
  • Good timekeeping and reliability
