We are seeking a Flexi / Bendi Forklift Truck Driver to join a small, successful warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a Flexi / Bendi forklift to handle materials efficiently and safely within our storage and distribution facility. This role will require a careful and safe approach to materials handling and receiving operations while maintaining high safety standards.
Hourly Pay rate: £12.75 to £12.90
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30am Start / 5pm Finish
Duties:
- Operate a Flexi/Bendi forklift to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Manage materials handling tasks with precision, ensuring correct placement and organisation of stock.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes and checking deliveries against documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of movements.
- Support warehouse organisation by stacking goods safely and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift licence for Flexi / Bendi forklift.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
This is a full-time, temporary to permanent employment with a 12-week probation period.
Essential Requirements:
- Able to work a full-time permanent job in the UK.
- Can pass a full DBS background security check.
- Valid in-house training certificate or license for a Flexi / Bendi forklift.
- Complete an online registration and right to work check.
