Role Overview:
My client is looking for a friendly and organised individual to provide reception cover. This role involves being the first point of contact for visitors, answering calls, and supporting the administration team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome visitors and provide a warm, professional reception experience.
- Answer, direct, and take messages for incoming calls and emails.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
- Support other staff as needed during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional and approachable manner.
- Basic IT skills (email, phone systems, and office software).
- Previous experience in reception or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential.
- Commitment to the values and mission of the charity.
Hours of work:
Wednesdays – 09:00 – 17:00 + any additional hours on an adhoc basis
