Ideal Candidate
My client is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Systems Co-Ordinator. They are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Systems role within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Qualified Internal Auditor status (essential).
- Previous responsibility for internal audits, CAPAs, deviations, change control and customer quality investigations.
- Strong root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Experience dealing directly with customers on quality matters.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- GMP experience (desirable).
- Degree or equivalent in a science, engineering or manufacturing discipline (desirable).
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the internal QMS audit programme.
- Conduct internal audits and ensure audit actions are completed.
- Lead and support investigations into non-conformances, deviations and quality issues.
- Manage the Change Control process.
- Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, providing timely responses.
- Monitor and verify CAPAs, including effectiveness checks.
- Support risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide Quality support to New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Participate in line trials and first production reviews from a Quality perspective.
- Review and approve packing specifications.
- Support Product Quality Reviews (PQRs).
- Attend customer meetings as the Quality representative where required.
Essential Criteria
- Experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Systems role.
- Are qualified and experienced Internal Auditors.
- Have experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Have experience managing quality systems, investigations and CAPAs.
- Are confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK, with permanent work status preferred
