My client is seeking an experienced Solar Supervisor to support the day-to-day running of our solar operations team.
You will be based in our modern offices in Portsmouth, you will work closely with the Solar Manager and wider operational teams to help deliver a smooth and efficient customer journey, from system design through to installation completion.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within the solar industry, with knowledge of solar PV design, equipment procurement, installation planning, and coordinating installers.
You will play a key role in supporting the growth of the solar division and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
About the Role
As a Solar Supervisor, you will be responsible for helping manage the operational side of solar projects, ensuring all stages of the process are organised and completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Ordering and managing materials required for solar PV and battery installations.
- Creating tailored solar PV and battery system designs to meet customer requirements.
- Supporting installation scheduling and coordinating engineers’ workloads.
- Handling customer and client enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Working closely with installation, sales, and operations teams to ensure projects progress smoothly.
- Assisting with the coordination of solar installation projects from initial planning through to completion.
- Providing support to improve processes and maintain high service standards.
