We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Cable Assembler to join our client's manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical cables and components with precision, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in electrical or mechanical assembly to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to ensure accuracy.
- Crimping wires.
- Carrying out various assembly activities on products supporting Defence, Aerospace, Commercial Cable Assemblies.
- Conduct quality checks.
- Maintain a clean and organised work station, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Document completed work and report any discrepancies or defects to supervisors promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in electrical or mechanical assembly, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Skilled soldering and crimping experience required.
Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm and Friday 7.30am to 1.00pm. 37.50 hours per week.
Salary
£13.00-£15.00 per hour (dependant on experience).
