I am looking for a friendly and organised Administrative Assistant to join a dynamic team in Portsmouth. This role is central to the smooth running of the office, providing support across departments and helping colleagues with a variety of tasks. If you enjoy a varied day and being the go-to person for administrative support, this could be the perfect role for you!

Working Hours: Three days - Flexible on the days (Not Friday) * Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scanning, filing, and maintaining accurate document and data records
  • Handling incoming phone calls and directing them appropriately
  • Welcoming and assisting visitors to the office
  • Raising customer sales orders, managing purchasing, and checking stock levels
  • Monitoring order progress and keeping customers updated on delivery dates
  • Following up on outstanding purchase orders, including overdue and upcoming deliveries
  • Entering and updating data as required
  • Providing general administrative support to colleagues and management
  • Supporting staff with various administrative tasks as needed
  • Covering for team members during periods of absence
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a professional, respectful, and courteous manner at all times
