Legal Assistant Emsworth £26,000 To provide support to the Residential & Commercial Property team by providing competent and efficient conveyancing support for the daily running of a busy department. Key Skills * Organised and able to manage own work allocation. * Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list. * Detail oriented and accurate. * Trustworthy and reliable. * Able to maintain client confidentiality. * Able to work in a team. * Articulate and a good communicator. * Not afraid to ask questions. * Knows when to ask for help when dealing with client/agent enquiries. Duties to include: * Preparing and sending out quotes. * Following up on quotes to convert/obtain feedback. * Opening new files. * Preparing and sending out contract packs on sales (under supervision). * Preparing completion statements (following training). * Completing SDLT returns through case management software (following training). * Dealing with registration at HMLR (following training). * Reviewing completed registration title documents. * Reporting to clients and lenders following completion of registration. * Update clients, estate agents and other solicitors on the progress of transactions. * Tie up incoming post with client files, liaise with fee earner as to required tasks, deal with queries, agree action etc. * Any other duties which may from time to time be reasonably requested * Must have minimum 2 years experience Apply now or call Lynsey for more information
