Key Recruitment are seeking newly qualified HGV Drivers to be trained as Tug/Shunter drivers to join our clients growing team based in Portsmouth's International Ferry Port.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of vessels and handling freight units within the port.
Duties
- Unloading and loading of vessels with accuracy and care
- Working as part of a team to achieve end goals and meet deadlines
- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures on site
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a port environment would be very desirable
- Good understanding of H&S regulations
- Valid Driving Licence (ideally HGV class 1 licence)
- Able to work in a team and on your own
- Able to work flexible hours to include mornings and evenings
- Good communication skills
Hours of Work
Available shifts from Monday-Sunday 06:00-10:00 and 18:00-20:00
