Role Overview
I am seeking a reliable and customer-focused Night Supervisor to oversee the smooth operation of a prestigious hotel site during overnight hours.
This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for guests and visitors while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
Working independently for much of the shift, the successful candidate will be proactive, organised and confident in handling a variety of situations, ensuring any issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operation of the site during overnight shifts.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to guest enquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of the premises throughout the night.
- Carry out routine site checks and report any maintenance, security or operational concerns.
- Ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents, escalating where necessary.
- Complete relevant administration and maintain accurate records of overnight activities.
- Liaise effectively with colleagues to ensure a smooth handover between shifts.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and organisation across the site.
- Support the wider team with any additional operational duties as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a customer service or customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Reliable, responsible and able to remain calm under pressure.
- Flexible approach to working a rota that includes weekends and public holidays.
- Comfortable working permanent night shifts.
