Mechanical Warranty Engineer

Job Description

My client is seeking to appoint a Warranty Specialist Analyst to strengthen their Customer Claim Handling EMEA Team, to join their site in Havant, Hampshire

Job Responsibilities

The Warranty Specialist Analyst will hold responsibility for

  • Analysis of units that are the subject of a claim, including detailed planning of the Customer Complaint Handling analysis, the professional execution including possible tests on the test bench as well as the follow-up of these.
  • Raising customer claims in SAP to assist the Warranty Claims Administrator.
  • Close collaboration and liaison with key stakeholders in our global quality departments to help support the evaluation of the units with regards to the cause of failure, and the customer error description.
  • Preparation of detailed analysis report for the further processing of complaints.
  • Some site visits to UK customers with a view to carrying our on-site troubleshooting for critical customer complaints.
  • Supporting the Customer Complaint Handling workshop area in the implementation of new analysis and testing methodologies and processes as appropriate.
  • Participating in personal development and training to ensure you remain up to date regarding new products and new product innovations.

Background and Skills

The Warranty Specialist Analyst should display

  • Detailed experience of working within a similar position within customer service, production or a workshop, ideally supported by a relevant qualification or appropriate experience within mechanics or mechatronics
  • Strong communication

  • Working in an international environment
