We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver to join our clientβs freight and shipping team in their Portsmouth depot. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods to ensure the smooth operation of the warehouse and delivery timeline.
Working hours: Monday-Friday 7.30am-5pm
Pay: Β£13ph
Contract: 12 week temp-to-perm
Responsibilities:
- Driving the forklift whilst adhering to safety protocols
- Receive, unload, and store incoming deliveries
- Prepare and stage orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Valid external forklift licence for Counterbalance is essential
- Ability to lift objects (up to 25kg)
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills for data entry purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
