Key Recruitment have a new opportunity for forklift drivers to join a large and well-known logistics and shipping company based in Portsmouth.
£14.50 per hour
Day shifts – 7am-6pm
Night shift – 6pm-6am
Shifts will be dependent on business requirements but will average at least 3 shifts per week.
Your role will include, but will not be limited to:
- Discharge and loading of cargo with the aid of electric forklifts and electric pallet trucks
- Ensuring correct and safe loading without damage
- Attention to detail, especially when moving hazardous or fragile loads
- Operating forklifts in and out of racking systems
- Restacking/breaking down pallets
What you'll need:
- In-date counterbalance forklift licence
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse/logistics environment
- Flexibility to work at all times of day, outside
Full induction to the company includes a 30-minute assessment and a short training session, to ensure you're knowledgeable in your new role.
