We are seeking skilled Production Assemblers/Solderers to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong soldering and assembly skills in a production setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to Solder, Test and be able to use a microscope.
  • Assemble small parts on a production line.
  • Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products.
  • Finish products such as applying protective coatings, bonding.
  • Set and operate hand-controlled Presses and Welders.
  • Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications.
  • Shows moral courage, openness, and honesty in all dealings.
  • Self-motivated and hard working.
  • Adaptable and flexible with a positive, responsible attitude.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Ability to work across most areas of the assembly processes.
  • Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative when necessary.
  • Able to work in a safe manner.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and to work standards.
  • An eye for detail and good work ethic.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision and to strict timescales.
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality.

Hours of Work:

4 day working week! No Friday working!!! Monday-Thursday 07:30-17:00, 36 hours per week.

Salary: £13.88 per hour.

This role is a fantastic position working for a well-established company. The position will be temporary to permanent for the right candidate with scope to increase pay according to skill level, output, and attendance etc.
