We are seeking skilled Production Assemblers/Solderers to join our clients manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong soldering and assembly skills in a production setting.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to Solder, Test and be able to use a microscope.
- Assemble small parts on a production line.
- Build up components and sub-assemblies into finished electrical or mechanical products.
- Finish products such as applying protective coatings, bonding.
- Set and operate hand-controlled Presses and Welders.
- Ensure products are to the correct tolerances and meet customer and internal standards and specifications.
- Shows moral courage, openness, and honesty in all dealings.
- Self-motivated and hard working.
- Adaptable and flexible with a positive, responsible attitude.
Skills and Attributes:
- Ability to work across most areas of the assembly processes.
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative when necessary.
- Able to work in a safe manner.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and to work standards.
- An eye for detail and good work ethic.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and to strict timescales.
- Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality.
Hours of Work:
4 day working week! No Friday working!!! Monday-Thursday 07:30-17:00, 36 hours per week.
Salary: £13.88 per hour.
This role is a fantastic position working for a well-established company. The position will be temporary to permanent for the right candidate with scope to increase pay according to skill level, output, and attendance etc.
