My client specialises in the designing, manufacturing, installing, and servicing state-of-the-art, custom Smoke and Fire Curtains for a wide range of buildings. They are currently seeking an Estimator to provide customers and distributors with accurate, technically sound, and timely quotations. This is a full time, office-based role.

Key Duties

  • Assess Requests for Quote (RFQs) and identify suitable, compliant solutions from the available product range.
  • Prepare and review quotations to ensure accuracy and completeness based on the provided information and drawings.
  • Ensure quoted margins align with business agreements based on product type and target market, flagging any discrepancies for management review.
  • Identify and escalate major projects for pricing evaluation by management.
  • Analyse customer requirements and recommend the most relevant and cost-effective solutions for each inquiry.
  • Accurately and promptly update project details in the CRM system to maintain business-wide visibility of quotations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat customers and distributors.
  • Assist the Bid Manager in preparing major tenders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer needs are effectively met.

Skills & Experience

  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft packages (particularly Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment (Desirable)

Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30
Friday 08:00 - 14:00
There is some flexibility with the starting time/hours.
