The Site Manager will oversee and control the day-to-day delivery of the allocated site or block, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position requires effective leadership of foremen and subcontractors, along with the ability to drive short-term programmes and monitor progress. The Site Manager will work closely with commercial, health and safety, and other internal teams to support successful project delivery. Weekly site reports will be prepared and submitted to the Project Manager for review prior to being shared with the client.

Key Responsibilities- Develop, oversee, and track the relevant sections of the project plan and associated budgets.
- Manage foremen and all on-site subcontractors for the designated site or block.
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Design & Quality, and Health & Safety teams.
- Ensure all site activities comply with safety procedures and RAMS.
- Verify that all works meet drawing specifications and construction standards.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports for submission to the Project Manager.
- Understand the project scope and coordinate resources to meet deadlines and budgetary requirements.
- Coordinate materials and labour across the site, ensuring efficient resource use.
- Liaise with the Project Manager, QS, and buying team to arrange procurement and scheduled deliveries.
- Maintain tight control over labour and materials through accurate monitoring and documentation.
- Maintain agreed quality standards and ensure these are understood by all site personnel.
- Keep complete, accurate records—both digital and hard copy—to ensure compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Work with project management and commercial teams to manage subcontractors, LOSC, orders, costs, and budgets.
- Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to implement the construction phase plan, including RAMS, COSHH assessments, and on-site documentation.
- Support ISO, Design & Quality, and other compliance processes to ensure high-quality service and product delivery.
- Ensure any contractor or subcontractor issues are identified and resolved appropriately.
- Participate in scheduled site and management meetings.
- Stay informed on relevant legislation, regulations, and company procedures.
- Hold weekly progress reviews with subcontractors and the supply chain.
- Ensure quality assurance/quality control processes are being completed and recorded by the Assistant Site Manager.
- Update and monitor the site programme weekly.
- Deliver Toolbox talks.
- ONC/HNC or equivalent experience/qualification in a construction-related field.
- Valid CSCS card.
- SMSTS Site Manager Safety Training.
- Asbestos awareness training.
- Scaffold and mobile tower awareness (PASMA).
- Manual handling and fire awareness training.
- Proven experience in façade and external wall insulation (EWI) works (essential).
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, Outlook, and general IT tools.
