Car Sales Manager Exeter Permanent £45,000 (£65,000 OTE) Job Summary Following a promotion, my client is currently seeking to recruit a Sales Manager to join a well-established Toyota dealership in Exeter. This position is dedicated to leading the experienced Sales Team in driving sales growth. Your day As a Sales Manager, your role is to meet sales and financial targets by developing and managing the Sales Department’s plans and budgets according to Brand guidelines. Key responsibilities include: * Guiding the Team: Coaching the Used Car Manager and Assistant Sales Manager to lead Sales Executives and Administrators effectively, helping the team meet goals and deliver strong sales results. * Training and Knowledge: Ensuring the Sales Team stays updated on product knowledge and brand details through proper training. * Planning and Profitability: Creating and achieving a Department Profit Plan that covers business plans, marketing budgets, expenses, and sales forecasts. * Administrative Oversight: Monitoring the department’s administrative systems to ensure proper procedures are followed. * Sales Process: Making sure inquiries are handled professionally, sales processes are followed, and transactions are accurately recorded. Must Have: * Technical knowledge gained in retail motor industry. * Numerate and articulate. * A full driving licence. * Inspiring leadership and teamwork. * Delivers Excellent Customer Service – experience in a similar sales environment. * Develops self and others – has experience managing a team. * Delivers result and makes things happen – has experience of a target driven sales environment.
