Key Recruitment are currently recruiting for permanent Production Assembly Operatives to work for our world leading client based in Bordon. If you are looking to work for a company that values your efforts, is forward thinking and cares about their employees then this is the role for you.
The role: To carry out production activities including soldering, mechanical assembly, wiring, and product testing in line with build documentation and quality standards. The role contributes to the timely delivery of high-quality electronic products, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform soldering tasks including through-hole and surface-mount components, ensuring IPC standards are met.
- Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components as per build instructions.
- Carry out wiring and cable harness assembly following schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to follow written work instructions.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Ability to maintain a high level of concentration.
- Ability to distinguish colours.
- Must possess good manual dexterity and have a good level of literacy and numeracy.
- Must be able to cope with working in different areas of production e.g. PCB assembly, general assembly, surface mount, coating, flow solder and test.
- Ensure shop floor is kept clean and tidy at all times.
Education/Experience:
No formal qualifications are required however if you have a J-STD certification this would be advantageous, previous experience of electronic assembly is essential.
Hours of Work:
Working hours are 4.5 days per week. Monday to Thursday 08.30 to 17.30pm and Friday 08.30 to 12:30.
