We are now looking for a commissioning editor to work within our bookazine division, The successful candidate will take on the role of commissioning editor and the responsibility of planning and commissioning over 100 bookazines every year on a variety of subject matters, that will range from aviation, transport, history, music to heath & wellbeing. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities ·Research and develop ideas for traditional and non-traditional bookazines ·Create briefs for each bookazine ·Source the editor for each bookazine ·Agree the standard amount or words and pictures for each bookazine with the freelance editor ·Agree the schedule with the freelance editor and the Publisher ·Working with our Accounts Department, Distribution, and the Publisher to ensure the financial viability of each bookazine ·Set and agree the budget for each bookazine withaccounts and the Publisher ·Handle negotiations with the freelance editor ·Ensure the quality and range of authors material ·To ensure all bookazines are profitable ·Achieve the agreed annual revenue budget Company events Company pension Cycle to work scheme Free parking onsite parking Hybrid working (3 days in the office ) 25 days holiday Key Publishing Ltd is an Equal Opportunities Employer and welcomes applications from all sections of the community.
