Responsibilities
- Work as part of a team or independently, setting and operating manual machines – vertical and horizontal borers.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Use height gauges, micrometres and verniers to accurately measure finished parts.
- Perform quality checks and inspections.
- Machining precision components to tight tolerances.
- Ensure safety and uphold company standards.
Qualifications
- Experience operating large manual machines as a Manual Horizontal Borer or Milling Machinist.
- Experience with vertical and/or horizontal borers.
- Familiarity with a precision engineering manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
