Due to company growth, we are looking for an experienced Manual Horizontal Borer / Milling Machinist with experience operating large manual machines to join our production environment. The role involves working with vertical and/or horizontal borers, setting and machining large fabrications and components, and performing milling, drilling/tapping, and boring to tight tolerances.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual machines, including vertical and horizontal borers, to machine large fabrications and components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Use height gauges, micrometers, and verniers to accurately measure finished parts.
- Perform quality checks and inspections.
- Machine precision components to tight tolerances while maintaining safety and high quality workmanship that upholds company standards.
