Our St Andrews based client is looking for a Kitchen Porter to join the team in their busy Kitchen. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours a week. RESPONSIBILITIES Clean and sanitise food preparation areas Wash utensils and dishes and store them appropriately ensuring they are suitable for next use Sort, store and distribute ingredients Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook foodstuffs Dispose of all rubbish Organise all laundry ready for uplift Clean the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas To be fully aware of and ensure adherence to and compliance with Health and Safety regualations Undertake any other cleaning duties asked by chefs on duty REQUIREMENTS Scottish National 5 qualifications in English and Maths Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to learn systems and procedures Ability to maintain good working relationships with the Kitchen/Front of House teams
