We are looking for a hands-on, reliable individual to join the team with our Dundee based client in a dual role capacity. This role will involve manufacturing PVC covers for marquees, completing bespoke fabrication for customers and assisting with marquee erection during peak season.
Responsibilities
- PVC COVER MANUFACTURING: Cut, weld and assemble PVC materials to create marquee covers according to specifications; Operate industrial sewing machines, welding tools and other fabrication equipment; Ensure all products meet company standards and health & safety regulations.
- BESPOKE CUSTOMER JOBS: Work on custom projects requiring tailored solutions for clients; Collaborate with internal teams to meet unique requirements.
- MARQUEE ERECTION (SEASONAL): Assist with erection and dismantling of marquees on-site during peak periods; Ensure safe handling and installation of covers and associated equipment.
- WAREHOUSE DUTIES: Maintain a clean, organised workplace; Load/unload vehicles and manage stock of PVC materials and tools; Conduct routine checks and minor repairs on equipment.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence (required for site work and deliveries).
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse operations and/or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience and other warehouse machinery.
- Knowledge of marquee erection process.
