We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook to join our friendly coffee shop team in Angus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing simple, freshly made food in a relaxed café environment and takes pride in delivering quality dishes and great service.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and serving light lunches such as soups, scones, and paninis
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Managing basic stock and ensuring ingredients are fresh and available
- Supporting smooth day-to-day kitchen operations
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Following all health and safety regulations
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or similar kitchen role preferred
- Ability to prepare simple, fresh food to a high standard
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Friendly, positive attitude and team-focused approach
- Knowledge of food hygiene (Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate desirable)
Working Pattern
This is a part-time position working on a rotating schedule:
- Week 1: Thursday & Friday
- Week 2: Thursday & Friday
- Week 3: Monday, Saturday & Sunday
Rotation then repeats. Additional hours may become available in the future.
