We are looking for Class 2 drivers to work on behalf of Key Personnel across the Dundee area. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations.
The Role:
- Location: Dundee
- Contract: Short and long term work available
- Rate: From Β£15.13 p/h (including holiday pay)
Duties:
- Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to safety and transportation.
Experience:
- A full UK driving licence with HGV Class 2 (Cat C) entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph.
- Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
- Excellent communication skills.
