We are seeking a Senior Bioanalytical Scientist with proven expertise in UPLC coupled with triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (ESI), to join a small biotech in London. This is a hands-on, lab-based position in a fully regulated environment supporting high-integrity, high-sensitivity bioanalytical work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot UPLC-MS/MS instrumentation (ideally Waters)
- Develop and validate robust, sensitive bioanalytical methods for complex biological matrices
- Perform quantitative analysis in accordance with GLP/GCLP and sponsor-specific protocols
- Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and full compliance with regulatory documentation standards
- Contribute to the delivery of client projects within a collaborative, scientifically rigorous environment
Essential Requirements:
- Demonstrable experience with UPLC and triple quadrupole mass spectrometry using electrospray ionization (ESI)
- Hands-on use of Waters systems (e.g., Xevo TQ, MassLynx) is highly desirable
- Familiarity with GLP and/or GCLP requirements and regulated laboratory workflows
- Strong understanding of method development, sample preparation, and assay validation
- Must have the right to work in the UK
Qualifications:
- Degree in a scientific field
- Postgraduate qualification (MSc/PhD) is preferred but not required if supported by substantial practical experience
