Keystone Human Services is currently seeking a Job Developer to join our team in providing individualized, person-directed support in the area of Autism. Our work focuses on inclusion and building communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and fully participate in everything society has to offer. The Job Developer provides personalized employment services to support individuals in preparing for, securing, and maintaining meaningful work. This role includes assessing each participant’s interests, skills, and support needs. The Job Developer collaborates closely with team members, participants, and their families to create employment plans that align with each person’s goals. Through ongoing coaching and problem-solving, the Job Developer helps participants achieve and sustain their employment objectives.

This full-time, non-exempt position earns $24 per hour. Keystone Human Services values health, wellbeing, and professional growth. Responsibilities
  • Promotes inclusive, competitive employment opportunities for individuals across diverse abilities and backgrounds.
  • Meets with individuals to identify job interests, strengths, and long-term goals, creating personalized employment plans to support successful outcomes.
  • Conducts skill assessments through formal tools and direct observation in community work settings to determine ideal job matches and workplace conditions.
  • Builds, cultivates, and maintains strong working relationships with local employers, businesses, and community organizations.
  • Provides employers with information, training, and resources to address concerns and highlight the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities.
  • Assists with job development and negotiation, helping resolve issues during hiring, onboarding, and post-placement to support job retention and satisfaction.
  • Works collaboratively with individuals to set employment goals, develop work strategies, and build skills that promote independence, responsibility, and autonomy.
  • Provides on-site job training, coaching, and ongoing support to help individuals learn job duties and integrate successfully into the workplace.
  • Mentors, coaches, and collaborates with other staff supporting individuals at job sites to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.
  • Supports individuals in arranging reliable transportation options to ensure consistent access to work.
  • Establishes natural workplace supports to encourage independence and foster positive, long-term job relationships.
  • Maintains timely, clear, and consistent communication with employers, participants, families, staff, and management.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation, Business, Marketing, Education, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Associate’s degree and one year of work experience related to job assessment, job finding, or employment supports.
  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of work experience related to job assessment, job finding, or employment supports.
  • Ability to obtain Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) certification or equivalent within six months of employment.
  • Effective communication and proficient computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle.
  • Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications.
