We are now recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager for Choice Care, our domiciliary care company in Blackburn, Lancashire.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
Choice Care is a main provider for Blackburn with Darwen Social Services and also now provides domiciliary care in Lancashire enabling us to expand geographically and in the services that we offer.
We are therefore looking for a dynamic & proactive individual to take the business forwards to the next level by expanding our operating area and the services we provide.
You will be supported by a senior leadership team and accounts department as well as a deputy manager, coordinators, supervisors and a recruiter, so together you can provide the framework that enables our carers to deliver outstanding care to our clients.
You must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Registered Manager and have a minimum of level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management. You must also have experience working for a domiciliary care company & servicing a minimum of 2-3,000 hours/week and be able to show how you have grown that company.
You will be based in Blackburn Enterprise Centre and have a working week of Monday – Friday 8 – 4.30pm. On Call is not normally part of this role, however, in an emergency, you may be required to cover it. You will be responsible for all day to day operational matters, including overseeing the taking on of packages, auditing, compliance, liaising with other stakeholders, managing staff, looking for new business.

Experience with complex care would be an advantage, as would a Registered Nurse qualification in general adult nursing.
