Our client has a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join their friendly and enthusiastic team!
This role is based at their neurological centre located within beautiful surroundings in Hertfordshire. The centre has dedicated Occupational Therapy rooms, and the expert team provides specialist neurological rehabilitation care and support to people after an acquired brain injury and/or a range of other neurological conditions such as Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s, and multiple sclerosis.
About the role:
- This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals providing care and slow stream rehabilitation to people with neurological conditions. You will provide an occupational therapy service by assessing, implementing and evaluating programmes of person-centred care as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
- We are looking for someone with a creative and person centred approach, who can develop treatment and support plans that enhance function and quality of life.
- Opportunities to develop a therapeutic group programme to meet the needs of a wide range of people.
- Leadership of a small team of therapy assistants and activities co-ordinators.

About you:
- Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current and valid Registration with Health & Care Professions Council
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- An ability to work autonomously and to set own and support others’ priorities
- Ability to build effective team working relationships and excellent leadership skills
- Desirable experience of working in a relevant setting, which can include practice placements
