This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same — from general repairs, painting, and joinery through to supporting health-and-safety checks, vehicle maintenance, and energy-efficient site management.

- Ensure safe storage of materials, paints, and tools in line with H&S and COSHH regulations.
- Support the movement and setup of furniture or equipment for school activities.
- Promote a clean, safe, and energy-efficient environment for staff and students.

- Full UK driving licence (own vehicle required due to location).
- Confident carrying out basic repairs (carpentry, decorating, plumbing, or electrical).
- Understanding of Health & Safety, COSHH and safe working practices.
- Comfortable using IT systems for audits and maintenance reporting.
- Willingness to work occasional unsociable hours when required.
- Any of the following are an advantage:
- Trade qualification (e.g. plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting/decorating)

- First Aid certificate
- D1 licence entitlement

- Health cash-plan, 24/7 GP access and employee-assistance programme
