We are currently seeking a clinically qualified Hospital Manager to lead a specialist rehabilitation hospital in York on a 12-month maternity cover basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident, experienced leader passionate about delivering person-centred care and service excellence. 🔑 Key Responsibilities: * Oversee day-to-day operations of the hospital, ensuring effective service delivery and high standards of clinical care. * Lead, manage, and support a multidisciplinary team in delivering tailored rehabilitation and recovery plans. * Maintain full compliance with regulatory standards and legislation. * Manage budgets, resources, and service performance in line with operational objectives. * Ensure safe and person-centred environments that promote independence and dignity. * Drive service development through effective planning and stakeholder engagement. * Monitor quality standards and implement continuous improvement strategies. 🧾 About You: * Current clinical qualification with active PIN and no restrictions to practice (RMN preferred). * NVQ Level 5 in Health & Social Care or equivalent (or willingness to work towards). * Strong knowledge of relevant health and social care legislation and quality standards. * Previous experience managing or supervising in a residential or clinical setting. * Excellent leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage performance, guide teams, and lead service improvements. * Confident in handling change, resolving issues, and ensuring positive service user outcomes. 🎁 What We Offer: * Competitive salary up to £61,800 per annum (dependent on experience) * 38 days annual leave (including bank holidays) – pro rata * Option to buy/sell up to 5 days of leave * Health Cash Plan & Employee Assistance Programme * Free parking on site * Company pension scheme * Long service & employee recognition awards * Ongoing training, CPD, and professional development opportunities 📌 Please Note: This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
