Key Health are currently seeking a female support worker. It is preferred that you are able to drive and have access to a vehicle, but this is not essential. This role offers ongoing agency work with long days and sleep shifts regularly available. If you are a candidate that likes to work long hours back to back and then have longer rest periods, this could be for you!

  • Location: Reading
  • Salary: £14.90-15.25 per hour
  • Hours: Regular long days and sleep shifts
  • Experience: Previous support work experience working with Autism (6 months UK)
  • Requirements: Full UK Manual or Automatic Driving Licence preferred but not essential

We are looking for enthusiastic and caring individuals to join our team in Reading, supporting adults with a range of physical, mental, and behavioural needs in a vibrant supported living service. The individuals we support enjoy engaging in community activities like walking, swimming, bowling, and visiting local cafes and shops.

Your Role: No two days are the same, but your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting individuals in day-to-day living activities, including household tasks and community engagement.
  • Helping maintain social connections and encouraging participation in social activities.
  • Managing finances and promoting independence.
  • Ensuring the home is clean and welcoming.
  • Providing personal care and encouraging healthy routines.
  • Bringing energy, positivity, and compassion to your role.
