Job Description
Senior Support Worker
📍 Location: Lytham
💷 Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum (T&Cs apply)
🕒 Hours: 40 hours /week | Monday–Sunday
📅 Contract: Permanent | Term-time only (option for full-time, 52-week contract available)
🚗 Essential: Full UK driving licence & access to own vehicle

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior support worker to join our expanding multidisciplinary clinical team. You will support children and young people with a range of complex needs including autism, developmental delays, and social communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attending children/young people's meetings
- To provide advice, assistance, and support to children/young people
- Promote equal opportunities and challenge behavior which discriminates against any child/young person or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation, or any other perceived difference.
- Attending to practical matters concerning childcare (cooking, cleaning, general maintenance around the home)
- Establishing relationships which children/young people perceive to be positive, warm, and rewarding.
- To carry out any other reasonable and relevant duties as required, including deputizing in the absence of senior colleagues.
- Be aware of childcare plans for all children/young people and support colleagues by maintaining consistency in the execution of those plans.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
About You
You are a skilled and compassionate professional with a passion for inclusive education and evidence-based practice.
Essential Criteria:
- This post requires the holder to do varying shifts, which include early morning and late evening work.
- The post holder must also work weekends as part of a rota and Bank Holidays when required.
- Sleeping-in duties are also required, for which additional payment Strong clinical report writing and case management skills.
- To undertake such other duties appropriate to the grade of the post and the needs of the home to develop and maintain service delivery.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
