Location: Lytham

Salary: Up to £29,000 per annum (T&Cs apply)

Hours: 40 hours/week | Monday–Sunday

Contract: Permanent | Term-time only (option for full-time, 52-week contract available)

Essential: Full UK driving licence & access to own vehicle

The Role: We are looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our expanding multidisciplinary clinical team. You will support children and young people with a range of complex needs including autism, developmental delays, and social communication difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending children/young people's meetings
  • To provide advice, assistance, and support to children/young people
  • Promote equal opportunities and challenge behaviour which discriminates against any child/young person or colleague on the grounds of race, religion, disability, age, gender, sexual orientation, or any other perceived difference.
  • Attending to practical matters concerning childcare (cooking, cleaning, general maintenance around the home)
  • Establishing relationships which children/young people perceive to be positive, warm, and rewarding.
  • To carry out any other reasonable and relevant duties as required, including deputising in the absence of senior colleagues.
  • Be aware of childcare plans for all children/young people and support colleagues by maintaining consistency in the execution of those plans.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.

About You: You are a skilled and compassionate professional with a passion for inclusive education and evidence-based practice.

Essential Criteria:

  • This post requires the holder to do varying shifts, which include early morning and late evening work.
  • The post holder must also work weekends as part of a rota and Bank Holidays when required.
  • Sleeping-in duties are also required, for which additional payment.
  • Strong clinical report writing and case management skills.
  • To undertake such other duties appropriate to the grade of the post and the needs of the home to develop and maintain service delivery.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
