We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to take the lead in a children’s residential home supporting young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs. This is a pivotal leadership appointment with full responsibility for the service, offering the chance to raise standards, develop a strong team culture, and create meaningful, lasting outcomes for young people.
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Lead, coach and motivate a committed care team
- Build a safe, stable and supportive environment for young people
- Ensure the home remains fully compliant with Ofsted regulations and quality standards
- Oversee safeguarding procedures, risk management and incident reporting
- Maintain robust care plans, assessments and all key documentation
- Lead on inspections and drive continuous service improvement
- Oversee recruitment, rota planning and staffing structure
- Conduct supervisions, appraisals and staff development reviews
- Manage budgets, occupancy levels and overall operational performance
- Develop effective relationships with Local Authorities, Ofsted and external professionals
Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a children’s residential setting is required, along with a strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and inspection requirements. Experience supporting young people with SEMH and complex needs is also essential.
