ABOUT KEY HEALTH

KEY HEALTH (formerly Key Health Solutions) is a rapidly growing UK provider of medical equipment maintenance, specialist biomedical engineering services, diagnostic devices, and critical hospital technologies. Established in 2006, we have built a strong reputation for excellence by supporting over 1,000 NHS and private healthcare organisations nationwide. As both an established EBME services provider and the UK distributor for several international manufacturers, Key Health delivers reliable, cost‑effective, and high‑quality solutions tailored to the needs of modern healthcare environments. Our expertise spans biomedical engineering services, equipment maintenance, calibration, audits, equipment storage, estates support, consultancy, project management, and ISO certification support. Driven by innovation and strong customer partnerships, we continue to evolve to meet the changing demands of the healthcare sector while maintaining the highest standards of service, compliance, and clinical safety.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Sales Manager with proven success in one or more of the following areas:

  • Biomedical engineering services (PPM, repairs, comprehensive contracts, field service support)
  • Biomedical test equipment (e.g., safety analysers, electrical testers, capital test systems)
  • Medical device sales, ideally in Urology, ENT, or Ophthalmology

While we understand that very few candidates will have experience in all these domains, the ideal candidate will bring strong sales capability, industry relationships, and a proactive approach to developing new business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales & Business Development - Drive revenue growth across service contracts, biomedical test equipment, and clinical devices. Identify and develop new opportunities within NHS Trusts, private hospitals, clinics, and OEM partners. Deliver compelling proposals and commercial presentations to clinical, EBME, procurement, and operational teams. Expand our footprint in key specialities: Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, and diagnostic services. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close.
  • Account Management - Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and industry stakeholders. Maintain regular contact with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, renewals, and upsell opportunities. Collaborate with the UK Operations Manager to align sales activities with service delivery.
  • Market & Product Strategy - Provide commercial insights to support pricing, product development, and market positioning. Attend industry exhibitions, EBME events, and manufacturer training sessions. Maintain expert knowledge of product lines and competitor offerings.
  • Internal Collaboration - Work closely with engineering, operations, and senior leadership teams to ensure seamless customer experiences. Support marketing campaigns and contribute to sales forecasting and planning.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

We recognise this is a niche industry with varied backgrounds. Candidates with strong performance in at least two of the areas below are encouraged to apply.

  • Experience - Proven sales success in the medical devices or biomedical engineering sector. Experience selling maintenance contracts, field engineering services, or test equipment highly beneficial. Existing relationships with NHS EBME departments, procurement teams, or private hospital groups. Experience in Urology, ENT, Ophthalmology, or diagnostic imaging equipment is a strong advantage.
  • Skills - Strong technical understanding of medical devices and biomedical workflows (training provided where needed). Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to manage a full sales cycle autonomously. Commercial mindset with a structured, data‑driven approach to pipeline management.

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive salary + commission structure
  • Car allowance
  • Supportive environment with opportunities for training and professional development
  • The chance to shape the growth of a rapidly expanding business with a strong reputation in the UK healthcare market
  • Ability to influence future product lines and services as the company scales
