We are looking for a Trainee Paralegal to join our Legal Team and support the delivery of high-quality legal services whilst developing legal knowledge and practical experience within a professional in-house legal environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a wide range of residential property matters, working alongside Solicitors and Property Lawyers, while also supporting wider in-house legal activities, including litigation, supplier contracts, and legal administration.

Main Responsibilities
  • Legal Support and Case Management
    • Assist Solicitors, Property Lawyers and other members of the Legal Team with a range of property law and legal matters.
    • Support the review of title documentation, leases, estate rent charges and other property-related documents under supervision.
    • Assist in gathering information and preparing documentation required to support property transactions and legal enquiries.
    • Submit applications to HM Land Registry and assist with post-completion processes under guidance.
    • Conduct legal and factual research to support the Legal Team and present findings clearly and accurately.
    • Assist with the preparation of legal reports, correspondence and internal documentation.
    • Provide administrative support in relation to property, litigation and contractual matters as required.
    • Support the management of legal files, records and case documentation, ensuring information is accurately maintained.
    • Assist with legal queries referred to the team, escalating matters appropriately in line with experience and authority levels.
    • Support the review and administration of supplier contracts and other commercial agreements under supervision.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders, external solicitors, HM Land Registry and other third parties as required and under supervision.
    • Develop an understanding of legal risks, regulatory requirements and industry standards through practical experience and training.
    • Ensure all work is completed accurately, professionally and within agreed service standards.
  • Team Support and Development
    • Provide general administrative and legal support across the Legal Team.
    • Work collaboratively with Solicitors, Property Lawyers, Paralegals and other business teams.
    • Gain exposure to wider in-house legal work, including litigation, contracts, regulatory matters and risk management activities.
    • Participate in training and development activities to build legal knowledge and professional skills.
    • Seek feedback and guidance from colleagues to support personal and professional development.
    • Contribute positively to team objectives and departmental initiatives.
