We are working with an amazing primary school in the borough of Lewisham who\’s looking for a teaching assistant to join their school and work in reception class from January.
The successful candidate will be employed on a long-term basis working 5 days per week, until the end of the academic year, (at least).
The School / Role:
- Located in the borough of Lewisham
- Mainstream primary school
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday, term time only
- Working in reception class
- General teaching assistant duties
- Start date: Monday 5th of January 2026
- Pay rate: 105 – 120 per day, weekly pay
Requirements:
- Experience working in schools / education / nurseries
- Must have an enhanced DBS (or willingness to process a new one)
- Ability to commit to a full‑time role working 5 days per week
