We are working with a primary school in Thamesmead (borough of Greenwich), who’s looking for an Administration Assistant to join their school and work on their reception desk. The successful candidate will be employed on a long-term agency contract, with the view to become a permanent member of staff (if all goes well). Please note you MUST have experience working for a school to apply for this position.
- Mainstream school located in Thamesmead (borough of Greenwich)
- Working hours: 10.30 AM - 4.30 PM, 5 days per week
- Hourly pay rate: £15 - £20 per hour (depending on experience)
- Start date: September 2025
- Responsibilities: Trip and school journey coordination, Reception/telephone cover/back up, Pupil records management, starters, leavers and data updates etc.
Requirements:
- You MUST have experience working in a school (ideally in a similar type of role)
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have an enhanced DBS certificate
