What you will do
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will help to ensure the people we support live a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life. You will have excellent communication skills and be a naturally caring and patient personality.
Responsibilities
- Support people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments and cooking healthy meals.
- Excellent communication and relationship building – enable the individuals to understand the world around them and promote positive relationships.
- Community and social inclusion – assist individuals to access and participate in local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
- Personal care – help patients to take medication, and assist with bathing, showering and toilet use; note that not all roles involve high levels of personal care.
- Record keeping – maintain accurate, person‑centred factual records and reports.
- Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, maintain trust and confidence of clients.
- Provide daily support with cooking, cleaning, shopping, travelling and community activities.

Experience and qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months UK experience in a similar role.
- Proactive with a positive outlook and passion for supporting people to be the best they can be.
- All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
