Key Care & Support are expanding services. In response to growing demand for support contracts, we are offering full and part-time positions for a Childrens Support Worker.
Key Requirements
- Fully flexible availability, including weekends
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Person-centred care with a commitment to the highest standard of support
- Positive, patient, and caring personality
- Willingness to provide personal care as required, including medication reminder, bathing, and bathroom support
- Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
- Ability to work safely and comply with contractual and regulatory standards
- Capacity to travel and participate in community activities
- Positive mindset and desire to improve the lives of people with learning disability and autism
Typical Responsibilities
- Provide an outstanding level of support to children in their family home
- Build relationships and help the children understand their environment, promoting positive relationships
- Facilitate community and social inclusion activities to promote life skills and individuality
- Offer personal care assistance including medication prompting, bathing, showering and bathroom use (if required)
