This opportunity is suited for a small plant fitter or mechanic with experience in small plant maintenance, electrical systems, battery powered tools and agricultural or construction industry plant.

Mobile Fitter Duties:

  • Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on company and customer equipment at customer premises.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to ensure all equipment meets manufacturer specifications.
  • Completing job documentation accurately and following safe working practices at all times.
  • Managing van stock levels and ordering parts as required to stay fully equipped.

Mobile Fitter Requirements:

  • Time-served, qualified Plant Fitter or Mechanic or relevant experience.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to plan your workload and manage time effectively.
  • Solid working knowledge of small plant engines (petrol 2-stroke, 4-stroke, and diesel) is a distinct advantage.
  • 12-volt electrical systems knowledge.
  • Battery-powered tools experience.
  • Applicants will also be required to pass a standard Drug & Alcohol medical test and complete Personal Track Safety (PTS) training, which is fully arranged and supported.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday. Overtime available at a higher rate.

Location: West London area.
