MET Technician / Vehicle Repair Mechanic | Beeston, Leeds

We are recruiting on behalf of Armstrong & Burns Ltd, a well-established, independent and manufacturer-approved Accident Repair Centre based in Beeston, Leeds.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced MET Technician, Vehicle Repair Technician or qualified Mechanic to join a modern, well-equipped bodyshop.
You will work alongside an experienced team committed to completing high-quality vehicle repairs to manufacturer and industry standards.
What You Can Expect
Good salary dependent on qualifications and experience
Holidays: 20 days + 8 statutory + Christmas to New Year closure

Regular manufacturing based training
Flexible start / finish between (7am-8.30am / 3.30pm-5pm) - 4pm finish Friday
The Role
As an MET Technician, you will complete the mechanical, electrical and trim work required throughout the vehicle repair process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Removing and refitting mechanical, electrical and trim components
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Identifying additional vehicle repair requirements
Completing four-wheel alignment and ADAS calibration work
Working safely on hybrid and electric vehicles
Ensuring all vehicle repairs meet manufacturer and industry standards
Completing work efficiently and accurately within agreed deadlines
Working closely with other technicians and mechanics to achieve team and bodyshop targets
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
About You
To be considered for this role, you must have:
A minimum Level 3 NVQ qualification in MET
Previous experience within a busy Accident Repair Centre
Current ADAS certification
Four-wheel alignment certification
Hybrid and electric vehicle certification
The ability to complete vehicle repair work competently and efficiently to strict deadlines
Strong mechanical, diagnostic and problem-solving skills
