Shift Pattern / Hours

Alternating Weeks. Mon‑Thurs 7am‑3:30pm and 11am‑7:30pm. Fridays 7am‑3:30pm every week.

We’re recruiting on behalf of an established and growing UK signage manufacturer with over 40 years of industry experience.

Renowned for delivering high-quality signage and visual solutions for a diverse client base, they are looking to welcome a Printroom Operative to their experienced production team.

As a Printroom Operative, you’ll play an important role in producing high-quality graphics for a wide range of signage and display projects.

Working with industry-leading equipment, you’ll help ensure every job meets the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate HP and Vutek large format printers to produce high-quality graphics.
  • Operate a Zünd digital cutting machine to accurately finish printed materials.
  • Prepare materials for printing, laminating, trimming, and finishing.
  • Check print quality, colour accuracy, and finished products against customer specifications.
  • Read and interpret production paperwork and job instructions.
  • Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of print and cutting equipment.
  • Work efficiently to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

Qualifications / What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience operating HP, Vutek, or similar large format printers would be beneficial.
  • Experience using a Zünd cutter or similar digital cutting system is desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced production environment.
  • Reliable, flexible, and willing to work overtime when required.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping.
