We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee the daily operations of Michelin star restaurant, Muse by Tom Aikens. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in premium hospitality, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage a diverse team.

Location: Muse, 38 Groom Place, SW1X 7BA

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum, based on experience

The Role

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including service quality, team leadership, and kitchen management.
  • Supervise and train FOH team, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee stock management, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and service quality.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among teams.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve business goals while maintaining cost control.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and ensure a high level of satisfaction with their dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Sommelier to create innovative menus that reflect current trends in the hospitality industry.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
  • Michelin experience highly advantageous.
  • Strong background in premium hospitality, culinary arts is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising teams and managing team performance.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food preparation and service is required.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a commitment to quality standards in all aspects of operations.
